Story
These Coffee cups and Candles will always have special place at Provider.
Many years ago we would often travel to Bangkok. On one trip we took a detour to try find this shop we'd followed for a long time. We had no global roaming on our phone, so we spent a good hour lost in the back streets of Khlong Toei (a suburb similar to Surry Hills).
A trendy Thai man approached us and as best as he could asked if we needed help. After showing him a picture of the store he told us he was friends with the owner and he personally walked us all the way to the front door.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely young Thai girl called Mint. We bonded instantly and from that day we have worked closely together to produce these wonderful ceramics for Provider.
Craft
Reminiscent of 70's Australian pottery and featuring pinched in sides for easy holding, use the pour over to make your filter coffee in the morning, then light the candle in the evening. Once it burns out use as your coffee mug or bring it back to our store for a refill.

Chiang Mai is a city in mountainous northern Thailand. Founded in 1296, Chiang Mai is the largest city in northern Thailand and the capital of Chiang Mai Province. It is 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok near most of the highest mountains in the country (because it is located near the Himalayas), including Doi Suthep and Doi Inthanon (which is the tallest mountain in Thailand).
