We found so many unique and special pieces throughout Kyoto. We explored antique markets and makers markets to find pieces that caught our eye. These tea cups feature an indigo glaze with patterned detail and make for a great tea cup for serving green tea at the table or for your daily brew.

Story

This was one of our longest sourcing trips, and also one of the hottest. It was peak summer while we were over there which meant we had to head to the markets early before the peak heat of the middle of the day. Albeit hot (and a little sweaty) we found so many great pieces on our travels through Osaka, Kyoto, Mashiko and Tokyo.
