Below is a little taster of our ten-year timeline; if you are wanting more, stay tuned because we are releasing a very limited edition book that will be a little time capsule of Providers journey so far.

2014

Provider Store launches

Original branding.

First feature in Real Living.

I started sewing cushions, making concrete stools, and various other home goods

2015 

Rebrand & product design

Meeting Mint in Chiang Mai.

Brand updates thanks to Todd Clare.

'I travelled to Bangkok to meet Mint, a sweet little ceramicist I had been a fan of for years. She was the first maker I ever worked with'

2016 

First studio space and first stockist

First pop-ip at The Old Clare.

Windowless studio.

'I found my first studio space in Camperdown in a shared warehouse. My little room had no windows, but I felt so proud of it as it felt like a huge upgrade from my kitchen bench.'

2017

Move studios & Pocari joins.

WIP Studio pop-up with a bunch of legends.

New studio - this time with windows!

'I got invited to join WIP Studios at their pop-up shop in Surry Hills, where I met creative women like Milly Dent, Annie Hamilton, Alexandra Dodds, and Gretel Corrie (to name a few). These women remain great friends and have inspired me so much.'

Pocari a.k.a Bubbub.

'Pocari, the Shiba Inu, joined the family as a little puppy and quickly became the Provider mascot.'

2018 

Provider bricks and mortar opens.

'Provider got a feature in Monocle Magazine which was huge!'

2019 

Nick Tsindos joins and we work with the Japanese government.

'The talented Nick Tsindos joined the team and took over our photography and changed the art direction of Provider. '

2020 

Gee joins and we redesign out website.

St. Peters studio.

Gee joins the team.

'Gee joined us full-time as our store manager. We outgrew the back room to make candles and decided to move production to St. Peters'

2021

We buy the Provider Kei truck, Provider Store gets a facelift, we purchase Provider House and move studios (again).

Moved studios again and renovated.

Provider House.

'I put ‘Hobart’ into the search, and this old cabin in the woods came up... The moment I saw it, I thought, “That’s it; that’s my dream home!”.'

2022

Provider House reno, we get a medal from the Mayor of Nara, Anno becomes our store manager.

House renovations began.

Anno became the store manager.

2023 

Provider House goes live and Heloise joins the team.

Open for bookings.

Finished house details.

'the house finally went live on Airbnb, and the bookings started to come in'

2024

We open Maido. Our first international workshop at Ace Kyoto. AirBnB best design stay finalist.

Maido opens for business.

'After two years of Provider Studio, we decided the space was too nice to only use as an office, so we decided to turn it into Maido.'
