Last week we ventured to Melbourne to teach a candle making workshop at Keoma Store. Not only were we chuffed that it sold out, we were also excited to be able to bring a little bit of Provider Store to Victoria. A big thank you to the wonderful staff at Keoma and everyone who came, plus to those who dropped off their candles for refilling. While a big part of our trip was work, we did get some play. Here is what we got up to when we weren’t making candles.
While we were in Nagoya venturing out to Gifu to meet factories, we found ourselves with a free day. In Nagoya there’s only so many Beams and United Arrows stores we can visit. So, we decided to hop on a few trains and a bus and head out to trek the famous Nakasendo Trail.
Situated in Lenah Valley, just 15 minutes from Hobart’s CBD, Provider House takes inspiration from Japanese design and the native Australian bushland, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the beauty and functionality of Japanese home goods in a real-life setting.
